Be greeted by the ducks noisily splashing in the dam, the rabbits scurrying to their burrows or foxes darting through the vines in search of their prey, all part of a day in the life Yering Farm Estate. Wave to the owners who may be tending the vines as you meander up the driveway for a personal wine tasting experience.
The rustic tasting room, a resurrected hay shed from when the property was a dairy farm. The original 'Yeringa' sign was recovered and adorns the entrance. Pull up a stool or lean on the worn wooden bar as you are treated to a presentation of boutique wines, all grown and made on site. This is where day trippers will want to spend time and feel at ease. The experience exudes the kind of charm that keeps you chatting and exploring each wine. A Tasting Fee applies.
Enjoy a tasting of the current range, have a glass of wine in front of the fire during the colder months or sit on the verandah taking in the majestic views of our vineyard and the Yarra Ranges beyond.
Snack on a Pruners Platter of local cheeses, olives, pickles & relish, munch on a bag of Chappys Chips or BYO a picnic to enjoy on a rug the lawn or on one of our picnic tables. (No BYO alcohol).
Everyone is welcome. Our large lawn in front of the Cellar Door is a great space for kids to run about with a game of footy or cricket. The venue is pet-friendly, but please keep dogs on-lead at all times and clean up after them.

Yering Farm welcomes groups of up to 20 people for a Group Wine Tasting Session.
Enjoy a 30–40 minute guided experience as our friendly team takes you through our range of handcrafted wines and cider, standing at our rustic cellar door bar.
A per person Tasting Fee applies, with a deposit required to secure your booking.
*Please note that Yering Farm does not accept Hens/Bucks parties.
For groups larger than 20, please contact us to discuss and tailor a session especially for your party.
Looking for a relaxed rustic space to gather? Hire out The Shed.
The Shed is a relaxed and rustic spot separate from our main cellar door — originally an old stables, now a charming space with a private bar, picnic tables scattered throughout, barrels to mingle around and a spacious lawn area right out front with stunning views of the Yering Farm vineyard and the mountains beyond.
Plenty of picnic table seating both undercover and in the open. Bring your own picnic or have your event catered by one of our recommended suppliers, and we will supply the bar.
Let's chat! We’d love to help you plan something special.
Bookings are essential for this area. A hire fee will apply.
