Set amongst 70 acres of orchard and 30 acres of vineyard the homestead offers a spacious retreat inviting guests to relax and unwind all year round.
The open plan living room, central dining and gorgeous timber country kitchen make for the perfect setting for large groups. Enjoy a glass of Yering Farm wine in the main lounge area beneath the vaulted ceiling of exposed timber beams in front of the open fire place. Or simply lounge on the leather couches, whilst admiring the stunning stained glass windows rescued from grandmas original home. The timber flooring on the ground level restored from the original coolstore. There is plenty of space for everyone to unwind. Â
Retreat to the library room and sit quietly on the window seat overlooking the garden. Dine in the formal dining room with feature fireplace which opens on to the terrace area.
Choose from six separate bedrooms on ground level. Upstairs, the staircase takes you to the grand master suite. With mezzanine reading area, king size sleigh bed, ensuite bathroom with spa bath and sweeping views of the valley.
Enjoy the tropical style surroundings of the inground solar heated saltwater pool. Or soak in the heated spa.
Stroll down to the Yering Farm cellar door for wine tastings and a Pruners Platter on the lawn or verandah.

Guest Access
You will have access to the entire house and surrounding grounds with plenty of parking available and within walking distance to the Yering Farm Wines cellar door.
Please note that as the house is located on a working farm/winery, we ask that you do not go through any gates into the orchards, vines or surrounding paddocks. We have livestock on the property.

It's only a short stroll from The George at Yering down to the Yering Farm Wines cellar door, where you can taste the handcrafted, limited release wines made right on site, while gazing out over the vineyard and mountains beyond. The George at Yering is the perfect spot to explore the Yarra Valley from, with multiple wineries, restaurants and townships only a few minutes drive away.
Getting around
The easiest way to get around the Yarra Valley is by car, though there are many wine tours you can join that will pick you up from the house. We can suggest some companies for you if you desire. There are also a number of transfer companies we can recommend if you need transport.
